When I first started my National Day Parade training with my fellow Primers mates, I was so reluctant to go all the way from Lakeside to Tanah Merah and change bus to the Simei Institution of Technical Education just for
TWO hours of balloon sculpturing. Imagine waking up at around eight in the morning and set off at nine on a Saturday morning! Weekends are supposed to be spent slacking, doing nothing much! Yet, I had to go for the training. Luckily, I had my RETARD GROUP! With Jian Ming as the Chairman, Simin as the Vice-Chairman, Charmaine as the Secretary, Qing Yan as the Treasurer and ME as the Logistic Officer. Most importantly, our two trustworthy advisors, Derrick and Joy. Thus, it is not that bad after all.

After four Saturdays, around six hours of balloon sculpturing and around two hours of dance practice, we finally step into the venue of where the National Day Parade is going to be held, the National Stadium, located at Kallang. I remember that day, 10th June 2006, is actually a sneak preview of us, the MOTIVATORS, and that day was raining, so we went off at the usual time, TWELVE noon. On that day, Danny also told us that releasing at twelve will not be possible from that day onwards and asked us to be prepared for getting home late.

except for those who are in yellow shirt and white long sleeve, the rest are audience! OUR VERY FIRST AUDIENCE! This is just for your information as I cannot elaborate much as I was in Kuala Lumpur at that time for study trip. (=

After seeing the beautiful fireworks and the smiles at the audiences' faces during the National Education Show, with the enthusiatic primary five children's faces, and the preview show, i think everything is worthwhile.
fuck you x=
