天鹅只是丑小鸭自我满足的幻想罢了... ( Being a swan is just a self-satifaction illusion of an ugly duckling.)
This is what I saw in my friend's personal message in msn. Actually, I beg to differ at the very beginning because I think that ugly duckling will eventually turn into a beautiful swan, stunning everybody else with its beauty and gracefulness. However, after a round of arguing, I think that my friend is correct in her sense. After all, all ugly duckling thought that it will eventually turn into a graceful swan, shutting other people trap when they see it, making them ashame of themselves why would they laugh at the ugly duckling in the first place. But sad to say, it does not applies to all cases. Though some might try as hard as they could to be a swan, fact still stays that they are ugly duckling. Why try so hard to be someone that you are not? Why not try to be someone that you are already is and improve on it? COME ON! Get a life and live it well! I mean life is short lah, why still stay at the same point to ponder upon your weakness? Why not get ahead with life and IMPROVE your STRENGTHS?! (= Everybody is pleasant-looking. Looks are just superficial, it will just fade as you grow older. Indeed, pretty, suave and cute people can attract people a lot. *HuiQi, you should know what I mean right?* But as time goes by, pretty, cute and suave will also wave goodbye to you. Aren't I right?
