Sun came streaming into my
beautiful and neat room, waking me up with birds' chirping and greeted me with the fragrance of flowers. Only to find myself less than a day away from the
BIG test, Environmental System aNd Process (ESNP). This is my FIRST ever test in my polytechnic life and the weightage of the test is 10% ("No wonder you are treating it so lightly! It is like an assignment," exclaimed Jian Ming.) Nevertheless, I will STUDY and SCORE for the test. Somehow, I found the sentence familiar, maybe I used it to stop my teachers' ranting in my secondary school's life before. opps!Time indeed flies very fast. In a blink of eye, I turned from a innocent and childish kid to a tall teenager, whereby I am STILL innocent and childish. Like what my kindergarden teacher said, " WOW! You grow really fast!" Yes, it is kind of fast. Twelve years ago, she still see me as a naughty toddler who brings pager to class and never failed to create a small mayhem during lesson and taught me a certain subject. (I forget is it mathematics, Chinese or English). Twelve years down the road, I have already graduated from secondary education and proceed to Pre-U education, or should I say tertiary education since the government does not acknowledge us as Pre-U student? I think it is a kind of achievement for the teacher, to see that the student, they have taught, doing well in their life and not committing any crimes.
Speaking of tertiary education, I think it is also not the government's fault for putting Polytechnic under that category as Polytechnic are like University, where we learn only about the course we are majoring in not general stuffs. I do admit Junior Colleges' students are hardworking and clever, but that does not mean that Polytechnic are not that hardworking or that clever. I do have friends scoring lower than 10 points for their L1R5. So, being in Polytechnic does not mean that we are not as hardworking or as clever as Junior Colleges' students. Being a polytechnic's student also gives us upper hand, such as we have practicals and attachment. Thus, we learn much more in Polytechnic, same goes to Institute of Technical Education's students. The reason why I never mention Institute of Teachnical Education is because of one reason. That is their fares are cheaper than us, polytechnics' students, which is still the same as secondary schools' fares and junior colleges' fares.
P.S: The time now is 0110. My test will be starting at ten tomorrow. Yet, I am still slacking in front of the computer and watching the television. (=
