First of all, let me thank all the teachers, be it those who taught me or those who I don't know them at all. Being a teacher is a tough job. They must face with all kind of nonsense everyday, deal with naughty and rebellious students, trying to shut those chatterbox like me, marking those horrible homework done like mine and trying to stop those trouble makers from creating more trouble.
Oh yeah, I did not return to my primary school or secondary school to visit my teachers today. Instead, I went to attend a talk by Students & Alumni Affairs as we are going to Sarawak to have our Generation Youth Leadership camp. In short and summary, the talk is boring, like talk will be interesting. Talked about self esteem and empathy, which till now still haven't digested into my mental system. On the way home after the talk, I saw a lot of secondary schools' students, maybe returning to their alma mater to visit those teachers who imparted their knowledge and thus enable them to enter those high flying school, e.g Anglo Chinese(Independent). This actually let me think off track.
It seems that everybody is returning to either Primary School or Secondary Schools to visit their teachers. But do anyone actually return to their kindergarden to visit the teachers there? "The teachers might be gone le lah. So long liao, you think they will still stay there meh?" you might think. But if you never try, you will never know. Maybe the teachers are still there teaching. As the kindergarden I attended is under my block, I always pass through it, checking whether my teachers are still there or not. Sad to say, all left in this year. To me, those years spent in kindergarden are important. Those are your foundation year, where you learn how to be responsible and independent.
Then I continued to think further more. Why everybody will ONLY returns on Teacher's Day eve? Maybe because that day is half day for all schools, thus, you can take time off to return to your alma mater. BUT since all schools are having half day, do you think the teachers will still stay back and do their work when they should letting their hair down for that day? Maybe some will really stay to do their work. Maybe. This leds to me to another thinking, even though it is not Teachers' Day, you still can go back to visit them. Why must you wait till Teachers' Day THEN you will return to show your graditute? Anyway, enough of my craps.
HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY TO All TEACHERS!!!!!!P.S: For your information, I did not return to my primary nor secondary school as the talk end at 1300, which by then most of the teachers are gone. And I don't see the need of returning on Teachers' Day ONLY. I mean the school's gate will always be open, welcoming her graduates.
fuck you x=
